With the 130-room Glow, Krabi has its second big hotel opening of the year.
Joining the recently launched Panan Krabi within stumbling distance of Ao Nang Beach’s tourist strip, this resort gets the jump on its mid-range competitor with rates starting at about $91/night for a jungle-facing room decked out in neutral shades.
On-site you have access to not one, but two gyms to stay buff on your break (one for cardio, one for lifting weights), a cafe and a bar-slash-restaurant that sits beside a long outdoor pool.
Of course, there’s more to holidaying than tanning by the pool—the hotel also arranges scuba diving trips to nearby islands like Koh Khai Nok and Koh Kai Nai.
