Laotian Hotel De La Paix’s new on-site art space launches inaugural photography exhibition My Luang Prabang

Laotian getaway Hotel De La Paix’s new on-site arts space Gallery de la Paix has launched its inaugural photography exhibition, My Luang Prabang, running through February 28.

The show features the works of Vatthana Siamkha, a noted young local photographer who is also the hotel’s front office manager. His shots depict scenes from everyday life in Luang Prabang.

Now offering a 20 percent discount—rates start at US$295 (S$362)—on stays lasting two nights or more through March 31 (including roundtrip airport transfers and daily bicycle rental), the getaway has 23 suites, each outfitted with indoor and outdoor bathtubs. There is also an on-premise cooking school, as well as the Spa Indochine with warm stone and Indian head massages.

Dining options include the Sabai Library & Lounge, serving international and traditional Lao fare such as beef curry with lotus seeds and glazed duck breast with chickpea puree.
