Legendary Wu-Tang Clan to headline new Thai music festival

It was announced just two days ago that members of Wu-Tang Clan will headline a new Thai music festival, Golden Axe Music Festival. Little is known about the festival, except that it is set to take place somewhere in Thailand on May 19-20 and is organized by Goldzillionaire Entertainment.

Facebook post on the festival’s page confirmed the legendary hip-hop act will be the first headliners, though the announcement is officially being billed as “live performances by members of Wu-Tang Clan.” What and who that means, we’re not entirely sure. But it sounds like the entire crew won’t be down. Just four years ago, two members of the clan, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah, performed right here in Singapore at Zouk. As one Facebook user put it, “Are we talking members like Meth [Method Man], Ghost [Ghostface Killah], Chef [Raekwon] or members like U-God or Cappadonna?”

In the meantime, check out the group’s seminal 1993 hit “C.R.E.A.M” below.
