Urbanscapes, Malaysia’s big weekend of creative arts, returns from 23 to 24 November at Malaysian Agro Exposition Park Serdang in Selangor, with an exciting line-up.
The festival will feature music acts Franz Ferdinand, Two Door Cinema Club and Tegan & Sara, as well as Australian indie rockers Last Dinosaurs and Sydney-based improv audio-visual outfit The Wires.
Big name acts on the Malaysian comedy scene will collaborate in comedy show, Whose line is it anyway, while the Market of Experiences will consist of a series of art exhibitions and performance art installations.
One highlight is Kult’s Real Horror Show, curated by Singapore art gallery Kult 3D, which will feature installations of monsters and ghouls, created by designers from around the region.
A weekend pass costs RM247 ($96) and can be bought online. Bus transfers taking you from Kuala Lumpur to the festival can be arranged through skybus.
