Music festival Summer Sonic 2013 is set to run in Tokyo (JPY15,500-28,000 ($202-366)) and Osaka (JPY13,000-23,000 ($174-308)) simultaneously from August 10-11.
This year, the event will feature headliners like American heavy metal group Metallica, American rock band Linkin Park, English rock talents Muse, Chicago alternative rock outfit The Smashing Pumpkins, UK performer M.I.A., 1980s icon Cyndi Lauper and singer-songwriter John Legend.
