Four Seasons Resort at Jimbaran Bay in Bali recently opened their new beachfront restaurant Sundara—the Sanskrit word for beautiful to play tribute to the glowing sun—serving up international as well as local cuisine, in a scenic setting that has views of Jimbaran Bay.
Helmed by executice chef Greg Bunt, the restaurant offers a laid-back spot in five-star surroundings, with both indoor and outdoor areas to take you from casual lunches, with options like pizza and sushi as well as local dishes, to candle-lit dinners when they focus on steak and seafood specialties.
Designed by Koichi Yasuhiro of the Tokyo design studio SPIN, the 29,437 sq. ft. space spans two levels, with an infinity pool that is the ideal place to sample cocktails by mixologist Javier de las Muelas, with music by Sundara’s resident DJs.
