Party like a celebrity on Singapore’s first luxury tall ship

Singapore’s first tall ship recently opened up to the public for private charter. Owned by Singapore-based Tall Ship Adventures, she first started life in Chicago and travelled some 15,000km to her new home at Resorts World Sentosa. And, she’s also somewhat of a celebrity. Not only did she make an appearance in The Dark Knight, the ships’ sail and rigging were also designed by the same guy behind the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Jim Barry.

Be prepared to drop some serious cash though. The Royal Albatross comes at a hefty price tag of $5,000 an hour, with a minimum booking of two hours. But, it can hold up to 149 people making it great for large scale events, over the top parties or just a romantic sunset sail if money is not an issue. You can also sail it to neighboring islands like the Lazarus Island or Sisters’ Islands. In case you’re wondering, an overnight charter would cost you a cool $50,000. But, the ship does come with five comfy ensuite cabins, a restaurant-grade kitchen, two bars, professional sound system, fully air-conditioned interiors and a full crew.

Head here to book.
