Imagine a wedding out in a countryside house surrounded by rice fields, sprawling greenery and pink-hued sunsets. Well, celebrity Thai couple Peck Premmanat and New Napassorn actually built such a place for their wedding and have sinced converted it into a business.
They’ve transformed the picturesque venue into Brandnew Field Good, a cafe and restaurant with a neighboring homestay called Baankaiho, found about an hour’s drive away Southwest of Chiang Mai city. Once there, getting to the venue itself requires traipsing a raised boardwalk (adding to the romanticism), which at night becomes aglow with fairy lights. The cafe serves standard-issue drinks, while the restaurant focuses on traditional Thai dishes.
There are two rooms available at Baankaiho, the Panorama Suite for B3,900/night ($164) and the slightly smaller Deluxe for B2,800/night ($118). If that price point isn’t enticing enough, check out pictures of the scenic establishment below.
