Royal Caribbean offers Valentine’s cruise to Malaysia

With February fast approaching, it’s not too early to start planning for that annual excuse for romance. For a Valentine’s 2014 at sea, the Royal Caribbean‘s luxury cruise liner Mariner of the Seas will set sail from Singapore on a three-night Valentine’s cruise to Kuala Lumpur.

This epic 1,020 ft., 138,000 ton ship, which can take up to 3,800 passengers, has an impressive choice of things to do on board.

Active bods can head to the ship’s rock-climbing wall, ice skating rink and basketball court, or to the fitness center where yoga and tai chi classes are held; or for a more relaxing time away, Mariner of the Seas incorporates signature Vitality Spa, four pools including an adults-only solarium, six whirlpools, and a new poolside outdoor movie screen for film buffs.

In addition, the ship has a range of shopping and dining options on board. For a romantic evening meal, dine at Giovanni’s Table for Italian cuisine.

Once on land in Kuala Lumpur, passengers can take part in heritage and culinary tours to get to know the Malaysian city a little better, as well as a chance to go on shopping excursions, before returning to the ship for the cruise home.

The Valentine’s cruise sets off on February 12, with rates starting from $419 for an interior stateroom. From now until March 2014 Mariner of the Seas will depart for a range of three to six night cruises to ports in Malaysia and Thailand.
