Scoot adds Honolulu to its list of destinations, starting next year

Today (Jul 25) marks the first day that Scoot and Tigerair will operate completely under one brand with an integrated reservation system, flight schedule and connection, conditions of carriage, check-in counters and call centers; a swift move after hearing about their plans to do so last year. In line with celebrating their new chapter, the low-cost carrier has also announced five new routes.

It wasn't too long ago when Scoot went on their maiden long-haul voyage to the Greek capital of Athens, making it the airline's first foray into Europe. Come June 2018, they’ll be flying to the U.S. for the first time, with the Hawaiian capital of Honolulu as their first destination. The other four new destinations are Harbin in Northeast China, Kuching and Kuantan in Malaysia and Palembang in Indonesia. Including the previous Tigerair network, Scoot will fly to 65 different cities across 18 countries by mid of next year.

The crew will also be sporting new uniforms, with details like a more asymmetrical design, higher waistlines and sharper angles, signifying a fresh start for both airlines. To celebrate the completion of the merger, the airline is offering special one-way promotional fares as low as $37 to Kuala Lumpur, $49 to Bangkok, $129 to Melbourne or Sydney, $229 to Tokyo or Osaka, $239 to Athens and more.
