Scoot is going to start flying to Europe, and Athens is first on the list

Few travel destinations have captured the imagination – and filled social media feeds – like Greece recently. Well, its romantic islands in the sun, millennia-old temples and mouthwatering souvlaki are about to get a lot closer as Scoot launches direct flights between Singapore and the Greek capital of Athens on June 20, 2017.

Departing four times weekly (Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun), the new flights aboard Scoot’s 787 Dreamliners will mark the airline’s first foray into Europe. The flights will also be the longest operated by a low-cost carrier. Athens has many attractions of its own – not least the iconic Acropolis – and serves as a gateway to bucket list destinations like Santorini and Mykonos.

To mark the commencement of the service, Scoot is offering sale fares starting at $288 (one way, including taxes, excluding baggage) from now until Aug 31. Passengers can also enjoy 10% off selected FlyBag and FlyBagEat fares by using the promo code GREEKON.
