If you’re planning a trip to Taiwan (and not just Taipei), you can now fly direct to Kaohsiung, thanks to budget carrier Scoot. It recently announced three new weekly flights from Singapore to Kaohsiung, starting Jul 9. It will be the first airline offering direct flights from Singapore to Kaohsiung—Taiwan’s second most popular destination after Taipei.
The good news: there’s a special introductory fare with one-way flights to Kaohsiung starting at $38. Tickets are now on sale and is applicable for travel between Jul 9 and Oct 24, 2015. More details here.
The flights will be departing Singapore on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
