Singapore-based organization Royal Group Holdings has been given the task of transforming the historic 35 Robinson Road spot into a luxurious venture, the Sofitel So Singapore hotel.
According to Bobby Hiranandani, Managing Director of Royal Group Holdings, the partners involved (including Sofitel Luxury Hotels) hope to “restore and refurbish this neo-classical structure to a five-star hotel of choice for the frequent traveler who is on the look-out for a home away from home”.
Renovations at 35 Robinson Road, Singapore will commence this month. The hotel is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2013.
