The Starwood Group has just opened a southern Indian property, the Westin Chennai Velachery—just a 20-minute drive from Chennai Domestic and International Airport—with easy access to the city center and prime attractions like the Government Museum, the National Art Gallery, beaches and historic temples.
At the hotel lobby, there’s a 35-foot cascading waterfall and the establishment has a total of 215 rooms with views of either the pool or the city skyline. Facilities include a 24-hour fitness studio, outdoor swimming pool and on-premise spa. There are also three food and beverage establishments: Pan Asian restaurant Eest, international eatery Seasonal Tastes and cocktail bar Willows.
