Opening in November, The St. Regis Sanya Yalong Bay Resort will be the first hotel on Hainan Island to offer butler service to all guests. Not just any old butlers, but people purportedly trained in the art of English service traditions.
The hotel has a classy nautical theme, with the entrance featuring a grand porte-cochere, a lobby with yacht-like wood finishing and a restaurant called Driftwood that serves up freshly caught local seafood fare.
