Opening more options for us to travel to our favourite weekend escape now that borders have reopened

Taking their maiden flight from Bangkok to Singapore at the close of April, Thai Vietjet officially kicks off a new direct service between Singapore and Bangkok.

Celebrating the inaugural flight, the first group of passengers to Singapore received a special souvenir from the airline and were welcomed with their signature in-flight Fly for Love performance by the Thai Vietjet cabin crew.

Capitalising on their strong domestic network and additional travel options between Thailand and Bangkok, Thai Vietjet takes another step forward by answering the call of Thailand’s consistently huge travel market demand in Singapore.

Since the reopening of borders, there’s already been a significant recovery in seat capacity between both countries, and as regional travel resumes, the trend seems set on making healthy growth.

Marking another successful milestone for Thai Vietjet, the new Bangkok-Singapore service connects Thailand and Singapore through direct flights that will provide more leisure and business opportunities for people on both sides. Appearing at the end of an extended period of disruption, this much-welcome news will play a critical role in assisting the recovery of both nations’ trade and economy as travel demand in the region grows.

Currently operating three flights per week between Bangkok and Singapore, we can look forward to having more options soon as they plan to add increased frequencies of up to five flights per week in June.
