It might not be top of your holiday wishlist right now, but the Kingdom of Smiles is scheduled to host a new addition to its race circuit in December. Held in Bangkok, the Thailand International Half Marathon is the city’s first, and it happens this year on December 11.
You can register for it online through November 30 and make accommodation reservations through Go Adventure Asia (5/F CCT Building, 109 Surawong Rd., Suriyawong, Bangrak, +66 (2) 236-2931). The half marathon fee is B655 (S$27), but if you aren’t quite up for the 21km run, there is also the quarter marathon option for B440 (S$18) or fun run at B330 (S$13.50).
