Created by Indonesia’s Ministry of Tourism and newly established online tour operator Halal Trip, a new Muslim-friendly guide details what to do there and includes locations of prayer facilities all around the archipelago. There are also two other guides to Australia and Jeju Island. The highlights of these guides include include halal places to dine, hotels and mosques to visit. So far, only the guide to Indonesia is available in both English and Arabic.
If reading’s not your thing, the tour operator Halal Trip can also be used to book flights, hotels and other packages to destinations as far as Sarajevo, the Maldives and South Africa.
