If you’re an intrepid traveler who doesn’t go anywhere without your trusty camera, you’ll love what the folks at Singapore-based travel agency Unusual Expedition have planned in the next few months. Specializing in photography expeditions to far-flung corners of the world, they’ll be taking photographers on trips to Tanzania, China and Italy.
First up from Jul 2 -12, there’s the Tanzania Safari Game Drive ($10,500 per person). Over ten days, you’ll explore Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and other natural wonders in search of lions, elephants and hippos.
China is the next stop with the Yading Landscape and Seda Monastery Autumn Photo Tour from Oct 14-25 ($3,450 per person). Traveling through Yunnan and Sichuan provinces, you’ll get to know the “real Shangri-La” and visit the world’s largest Tibetan Buddhist school.
Finally, they’ll head to Italy for the Tuscany Landscape, Cinque Terre and Dolomites Autumn Photo Tour from Oct 29-Nov 6 ($4,600 per person). Arriving in Venice, you’ll visit the Dolomites mountain range, the charming fishing villages of the Cinque Terre and the rolling hills of Tuscany before departing from Rome.
Each trip includes accommodation, meals, transfers, entrance fees and an English-speaking guide but excludes flights. They do provide recommendations and estimated costs for flights, however. Award-winning photographer Joseph Mak will lead the tours to China and Italy. For more information, head to the Unusual Expedition website.
