Starting in Jan 2015 budget carrier AirAsia will be rolling out a new AirAsia Asean pass that lets you visit up to ten Asean countries in a month for just RM499 ($193), excluding surcharges and taxes. The pass, which lasts for 30 days, comes loaded with ten credits that can be used on 137 different routes within the ASEAN region. Each route costs between one and eight credits, one way but does exclude any related taxes or surcharges. We’re still scratching our head a little, but it does seem to be a decent deal, especially if you plan on taking a month off to travel round the region. Plus, you can earn points which you can redeem for free AirAsia flights in the future. More info to follow.
