Thanks to UberMOTO, you’ll be able to breeze through traffic on your next trip to Bangkok.
The new motorbike service, launched last week, offers a cheap and efficient transport option with flag rates starting at THB 10 ($0.40) plus THB 0.85 ($0.03) per minute and THB 3.5 ($0.14) per kilometre. Cancellation is THB 10 ($0.40).
Safety is a priority with UberMOTO – riders provide passengers with their own helmets, which, if you’ve used a motorcycle taxi before, is really an improvement on current circumstances.
UberMOTO rides are currently available around Sathorn, Siam and Silom. Over the next few weeks services will be extended to other locations around Bangkok.
There’s also a promotion to celebrate the launch. First timers can use the code BKKUberMOTO to get two free rides worth THB 100 ($3.94) each until Mar 15, 2016.
