Estonia-based startup Jobbatical was borne when the Karoli Hindriks tried looking for short term work on holiday when she was on a career break. When she went back to her own country, she decided to create Jobbatical (a portmanteau of job and sabbatical) to give people opportunities to go on a working holiday.
It’s easy to navigate the website—all you have to do is type the field you’re interested in, and you’re off. You can head somewhere within the region like Hong Kong, or travel to Berlin or even Switzerland. The jobs are mostly for those who work in tech (or have experience in them), and the team is looking to add more jobs from different industries to the pool.
