A common excuse for not exercising regularly is the lack of time. People say that they are so busy with work, family and other commitments that working out takes a back seat.
Sumhiit Fitness (pronounced “Summit Fitness”) addresses this with a cutting-edge fitness concept verified by researchers at the University of California Los Angeles that challenges traditional notions of high-intensity workouts, delivering 50 minutes of supercharged calorie burn in just 35 minutes.
Time-strapped individuals can begin their journey towards fitness at its first studio in Singapore located in Tai Seng Centre.
Sumhiit Fitness is launched by Inspire Brands Asia (the master franchisee of the global Anytime Fitness brand in Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Thailand).
The HIIT studio concept has been gaining momentum in the U.S. under twin brand Basecamp Fitness which currently boasts over 20 locations across the country.
Led by experienced coaches, the session combines energetic 60-second bursts of high-intensity cardio on air bikes, and strength building with muscle-toning dumbbells, fixed weight barbells, kettlebells, TRX, medicine balls and body weight exercises.
This is followed by a 10-minute optional post-workout segment focusing on core exercises that tightens your abs and clears your mind.
With such a high-intensity group workout that maximises results in minimal time, we’d say no more excuses. The expansive 2,300-square-foot studio can accommodate up to 36 individuals per class.
Plans are already underway for a second studio to be open in Orchard Road in April.
Sumhiit Fitness is at 3 Irving Road #01-20/21, Tai Seng Centre, Singapore 369522.
