Art isn’t always pretty, as Indonesian artist Ivan Sagita understands. Sagita’s symbolic works reflect his pre-occupation with the fragility and uncertainty of life, especially in the volatile Suharto era. His solo exhibition will be represented by Equator Art Projects, and includes paintings, sculptures and photography.
