Pop-rock string-quartet Vox puts a refreshing spin on old school classics

This week we chatted to Singapore’s first pop-rock string quartet, made up of Lester Kong, Melissa Liew, Tow Huiwen and Justine Loh. The talented musicians return for their second show after a sold-out run at the Esplanade last year. Known for their bold classical-modern mash-ups, violist Melissa Liew shares with us their humble beginnings, breaking out of geeky stereotypes and the decision to hold this year’s concert at Zouk nightclub.
