Chun Kwang Young: New Dreams
This solo exhibition showcases 15 new pieces by Korean-born artist Chun Kwang Young, part of his new series, Aggregation. He pieces together triangular polystyrene foam packages wrapped in mulberry paper, using a bold pinks, oranges, yellows, and blues.
Modern Fantasy
Six local artists were asked to use their imagination to turn Singapore’s myths and folklores into fantasy illustrations. These illustrations are being presented in this group exhibition, with the aim of encouraging the audience to look at societal issues with a different perspective.
Book Club: The Left Hand of Darkness
This bimonthly feminist book club led by the Singapore Committee for UN Women is discussing The Left Hand of Darkness by the prolific Ursula LeGuin, a science fiction novel about a diplomat who is sent to a planet where the people can choose and change their gender.
