As we approach June and prepare for the arrival of the annual mid-year holiday season, it’s essential for many of us to start making plans for the whole family – especially for those with young curious children looking to explore the many wonders of our city.
This holiday, let the young ones take flight and travel the world à la hot air balloons at the iconic Gardens by the Bay.
In partnership with Kiztopia, the people behind Singapore’s leading mega-indoor kids’ entertainment playground centre, eight specially-designed giant inflatables measuring up to 12.5 metres tall will be taking centrestage at Gardens by the Bay as part of this year’s Children’s Festival, running from 28 May – 19 Jun at the Supertree Grove.
As travel borders continue to open up, this timely installation will first bring the world to us (and the kids) without needing to board a plane. Each inflatable features iconic landmarks from around the world such as Mount Fuji in Japan, the Sydney Opera House in Australia, the windmills of the Netherlands, and even Singapore’s very own Gardens by the Bay.
Also making a special appearance are the cast of Kiztopia Friends for more instagrammable moments with beloved characters. Join Drago the Dragon in Kenya’s wild safari, Mark the Monkey in Thailand, Raby the Rabbit in the Netherlands, Eli the Elephant in Japan, and Happy the Hippo in Australia.
Including Singapore, the festival will showcase six country-themed hot air balloons filled with ample adventure opportunities and fun activities for children and their families to explore.
On top of that, there’ll also be exciting interactive zones at the Supertree Grove Lawn and Colonnade for families to take part in.
