The Songkran Music Festival which opened to rave reviews in April 2019 may not be taking place this year, but Wild Wild Wet is still set on livening things up at its Downtown East locale with an all-new festival experience.
Happening from Apr 1-30, the iconic theme park will soon host the first-ever Songkran Water Fest 2021, bringing a slice of Thailand to our shores. During the month, Wild Wild Wet will be transformed into a Thai-themed attraction boasting water gun battles, Thai-inspired treats and more.
First, visitors are invited to bring along their water guns to partake in an epic water gun battle that happens from 3-5pm daily.

All festival-goers are also encouraged to take aim at spinning target boards erected at the Professor’s Playground and flaunt their marksmanship.
In addition to the activities, guests can keep an eye out for special, Thai-themed installations dotting the waterpark such as an actual tuk-tuk and cool decor for photo-ops.

Since the festival is happening under unique circumstances, the park will enforce safe distancing measures which include a cap of 50 people at certain attractions like the Shiok River and Professor’s Playground.
Guests should note that tickets cost $20 each for a weekday pass. This includes a $5 Ola Beach Club Voucher to be used on F&B purchases like Thai Milk Tea and other signature eats.
So if you have been missing the Land of Smiles, gather the crew for some Thai-inspired entertainment at Downtown East. After all, nothing screams fun like epic water fights and games with the gang.
