Aqua’s gig would’ve happened this weekend, if not for the fact they decided to cancel “due to unforeseen circumstances”. Bad ticket sales, perhaps? On that note, we’re also bummed that we won’t be able to catch Australian psychedelic rockers Pond (they were so good at the most recent Clockenflap in Hong Kong!) since they too cancelled. But fret not, there’s still much to do this weekend. You should check out Bjorn Shen’s Bird Bird if you haven’t already because it’ll be the last time you can, have a boozy weekend bender at Pinot Palooza and Whisky Live or check out the films at the 28th edition of Singapore International Film Festival.
