Boutique Keralan holistic retreats Purity and Serenity—part of the Malabar Escapes group—are offering a Hand in Hand yoga and ayurveda retreat from October 19-26 or 29.
The seven- (from €1,280 (S$2,048)) or ten- (€1,740 (S$2,784)) night stay includes daily yoga classes in the morning and evening, plus an individualized ayurveda treatment every day of the stay.
The package starts with four nights at Purity, a six-room waterfront resort at Lake Vembanad—70 kilometers south of Kochi—designed in the style of a Roman villa. There, guest will meet with an experienced in-house ayurvedic doctor, cycle around the quiet village and take a free cruise on an electric-propelled country boat as well as dining from an ayurvedic menu.
This is followed by three or six nights at Serenity, another six–room establishment, with guided walks in the spice gardens and rubber plantations, an elephant ride, a cooking demonstration, a day trip to Wagamon Tea Plantation, a yoga class at an orphanage and a lecture on ayurveda and alimentation.
