The 369-room Shangri-La Hotel Yangzhou—Shangri-La’s 35th project in China—opened on December 17 and is offering an opening rate of CNY868 (S$170) on their Deluxe City View Room through March 31.
Overlooking Mingyue Lake and surrounded by a pretty Chinese garden with pavilions, pagodas and koi ponds, the hotel is also conveniently located just five minutes from Yangzhou Railway Station and 30 minutes from Yangzhou Taizhou Airport.
Facilities include a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, gym, tennis court and eateries like international restaurant Cafe Xiu and Cantonese establishment Shang Palace.
Yangzhou is a culturally rich city, famous for its Chinese Tang and Qing dynasty poets as well as lacquer ware and the native Huaiyang cuisine.
