The recently-opened Wine Connection Cheese Bar at Robertson Walk replaces the wine retail chain’s first deli and bistro after a major revamp.
Cheese, of course, takes center stage here. The 190-seater stocks over 40 matured farm cheeses, air-flown from Europe twice a month. Familiar French options such as the Brie de Meaux ($5.90/100 grams) and Saint Nectaire ($4.90/100 grams) are available alongside more unusual choices including Gorgonzola Mascarpone from Italy ($7.90/100 grams) and Queso Manchego ($7.90/100 grams) from Spain.
If you’re dining in, try up to seven types of cheese from the chef’s monthly selection with an a la carte platter (from $19); be sure to pair them with wine with over 20 labels by the glass (from $6) and over 250 by the bottle (from $30) on offer.
Alternatively, there are also salads (all $19), raclettes ($39 per person) and homemade tartines (all $19).
