Tiger Airways will commence flights to Hyderabad on September 27.
The airline will run the route five times weekly and promotional fares start at around S$398 return. This special price is available till July 13 for travel between September 27 and October 31, while SilkAir’s prices are S$708 return.
The Southern Indian city is a popular destination and goes by many names: City of Pearls (pick up some jewelry for Mom), Briyani City—tuck into the popular local rice dish fragrant with Arab and Turkish spices—and Cyberabad (this is no backwater, but a modern tech center).
