We know them well for their ice products and services, but Tuck Lee has made its first foray into alcohol distribution, introducing two intriguing beverages from Victoria, Australia.
First up: Innocent Bystander Moscato, a quirky, sparkling, light pink wine from the Murray region. Innocent Bystander is made from a blend of Black Muscat and Muscat Gordo Blanco grapes harvested at night and fermented at low temperatures to produce a fresh, fruity and delicately fizzy wine. It comes in 375ml crown-sealed bottles and you can drink it with a straw (in Australia, they even have it in kegs, would you believe).
Next on their list is a cider, but one made by winemakers. Napoleone & Co. hailing from the Yarra Valley region, is produced by Punt Road Wines using apples and pears grown on the family property in Coldstream. Both the apple and pear ciders are crisp and refreshing, with more body than you’d normally get with a mass-produced drop.
Try both the Innocent Bystander ($26) and the Napoleone & Co. ($15) at Nazt Bistro Lounge.
