If rum is your alcohol of choice, then head to The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore on Jul 8 and 9 for its first-ever Singapore Rum Festival.
The festival will be presenting over 20 of the best rum brands, from Bacardi and Mount Gay to Doorly’s, Hampden, Neisson, Black Tot, Renegade, TCRL, Black Tears, and La Progresiva.
For its first edition, Singapore Rum Festival will also shine a spotlight on regional Southeast Asian rums. Discover the flavours of Cambodia with Samai (the first premium rum to be produced in the country) and explore the Thai rum scene with Phraya and Chalong Bay.
Alongside tasting experiences, the two-day event will feature curated masterclasses by industry experts and rum tastings with The Bar at 15 Stamford’s bar manager, Edriane Lim, on Jul 8 July, and one premium rum tasting by The RumCartel the next day. There will also be servings of creative cocktails and food at the festival.
Singapore Rum Festival takes place at The Atelier, Level 4, The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore on Jul 8 and 9, 12pm to 7pm. Standard tickets are priced at $68++. Tickets, available here, will include complimentary tastings of all rums on display.
