Turning 21 is an important milestone for all youths, which makes Singapore Street Festival 2023 (SFF) especially significant. The festival makes a physical comeback for its 21st anniversary this year since its debut in 2002, with more performances for everyone to enjoy.

For those who are unfamiliar with SFF, it is a non-profit social and community project that provides youths in Singapore an opportunity to showcase their skills and talents within the visual and performing arts community. The festival’s platform also teaches youths how to organise, plan and execute events, and allows them to be trained in stage management skills.

This year’s SSF takes place in partnership with Lendlease which is celebrating its 50th year of operations in Singapore. Themed “The Next Generation”, it kicked off in Jul 7 and will run till Aug 13, 2023, across four locations – 313@somerset, Jem, Parkway Parade, and Paya Lebar Quarter. Youths were invited to come forward with creative ideas based on the theme “Build on our 50 (years) for the next 50 (years)”.
