Sisi & I

The 26th German Film Festival, in collaboration with KinoFest (a new regional film event), presents a compelling collection of cinematic narratives that transcend mere entertainment to provide profound glimpses into the intricate tapestry of contemporary German cinema, through the genres of drama, documentaries, and animation.

Jointly presented by the Goethe-Institut Singapore and The Projector, the films will be screened from Oct 19 to Nov 4. The last day marks the date of the free outdoor screening at 7.30pm at the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

The Amazing Maurice is a computer-animated fantasy comedy directed by Toby Genkel that won the 2023 Sundance Film Festival Animated Feature Distinction and stars the voices of Hugh Laurie, Emilia Clarke, David Thewlis, and Himesh Patel.

They are both featured guests at a post-screening Q&A on Oct 25.
