PetExpo returns bigger and better than ever this year with more exciting programmes, activities and workshops for all paw-rents, furry friends and aquatic pets.
Happening from Mar 15 to 17 at Expo Hall 5B and 6, the pet-centric event is now 50 percent bigger with 200 participating brands and 128 exhibitors. With over 35,000 attendees last year, PetExpo 2024 is again set to be the largest gathering of pet enthusiasts in Singapore.
What to expect
Kick off the celebrations by joining the cake-cutting ceremony on Mar 15 to celebrate a decade of pet passion and community, after which 200 to 250 pets can indulge in a slice of cake by Bossipaws, while stocks last.
Brands B2K PetCare, Silversky, Yappy Pets, Pet Cubes, and Howlistic Life are back again this year with exciting promotions and the best pet-related deals and experiences. (Visitors who are planning to stock up pet supplies will be pleased to know that PetExpo is partnering with Lalamove who will be offering exclusive discount codes up to 25 percent for both new and existing customers.)
There will be an immersive activity zone with a photobooth, balloon sculpting and caricature drawing to capture the occasion with their loved ones.
The new Aqua Zone is the highlight this year. This area is specially dedicated to aquatic animal enthusiasts, and offers a captivating array of booths specialising in aquatic technology, accessories, and marine species.
Among the featured retailers is Madshrimp, a premium aquatic lifestyle boutique renowned in Southeast Asia for curating the highest quality products and hardware. Dive into a world of underwater wonders as you explore displays of vibrant fish, exotic plants, and intricate aquatic setups at Aqua Zone, catered to both seasoned aquarists and curious newcomers to the hobby.
Take part in a diverse range of engaging workshops tailored for pet parents. The Paint By Numbers Painting Kit will keep the little ones occupied, while those seeking more of a challenge can sign up for the DIY Pet Portrait Art Jamming Live Workshop. Skilled artists from Amber Art Gallery will be there to provide guidance on creating the perfect portraiture of your furkid.
Alternatively, embark on culinary adventures with BossiPaws through a cupcake decorating workshop, or explore the underwater realm with East Ocean Aquatics’ aquascaping workshop, where attendees can learn to build a personalised tank ecosystem. Learn how to set up, decorate, and arrange displays of natural elements including aquatic plants, stones, driftwood, and substrates.
Beyond the exciting promotions and deals, there are insightful programmes dedicated to fur kids’ well-being. This year’s edition will see an exciting line-up of activities and talks surrounding topics such as pet wellness, nutrition, and training.
Also returning are the ever-popular competitions. From the SKC Championship Show to the FCI Grooming Competition and the entertaining PetExpo Got Talent, every pet has a chance to shine. Pop by the Aqua Zone to witness the 11th Guppy Championships by Nature Therapy Studio x Otolith Enrichment.
A pet adoption drive organised by the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) will feature eight AVS Animal Welfare Groups partners looking to provide rescued animals a second chance at a loving home. AVS is also organising “Chat with a Vet” sessions, which includes free microchipping for cats, over all three days. Registration is required and spots are limited on a first-come, first-served basis.
A daily lucky draw will take place at 7pm where winners can stand a chance to win attractive prizes. These range from an exhilarating cruise trip (for both paw-rents and pets to embark on) to dining vouchers, and even a bespoke cake set among many others. The first 1,000 attendees daily will also have the chance to snag a goodie bag filled with an assortment of freebies from tempting treats to grooming essentials.
Adult tickets cost $5 (online) and $6 (counter) per day. Free entry for children below 12. Pets are welcome. For more information about PetExpo’s 2024 programmes and ticketing details, visit petexposg.com.
