Level up your escape room experience at Lost SG’s new location at Gr.id. The company, which has been in the game for more than a decade, has unveiled an extensive expansion with enhanced immersive experiences of 2.0 versions of fan-favourite themes.
There are five uniquely themed rooms, including Alcatraz 2.0, Exodus 2.0, Mausoleum 2.0, Castiglione 2.0, and the newly opened spine-chilling Aokigahara 2.0. They span over 2,500 square feet, and can take up to 60 players at a time with 12 players in each escape room.
According to Lost SG, each room has been “significantly enhanced with fresh gameplay and storytelling, designed to offer [our] players an even more immersive and a truly unforgettable experience.”
Players are given a 60-minute time limit, and must work together to make sense of thought-provoking clues and seemingly abstract puzzles to escape from a locked room. Every little detail could be the essential clue to help unlock another part of the puzzle or be the ultimate key to their escape. Needless to say, quick thinking and teamwork are essential for success.
Escape from these 5 roomsAlcatraz 2.0 This room is inspired by Alcatraz Island prison which housed the most dangerous felons in America during its operation from 1934 to 1963. Surrounded by hazardous currents of the San Francisco Bay, no inmate was thought to have ever successfully escaped the maximum-security facility – except for three. Did the inmates really make it out of Alcatraz Island, or did they perish in the dark waters? Players take on their journey to escape from Alcatraz by using analytical thinking, logical reasoning and observational skills. Exodus 2.0 Enslaved and oppressed with forced labour, life as an Israelite in Egypt was challenging and difficult. On a scorching afternoon, a mysterious stranger came to town. An Israelite by birth, he demanded the Pharaoh to release his people from slavery. The Pharaoh relented and the Israelites joyfully made their way out of Egypt. However he regretted his decision and gave chase with an army. Can players escape the clutches of the Pharaoh? Castiglione 2.0 In the 1860s, during the Second Opium War, the British and French Empires invaded China. In the midst of the war, all 12 of the zodiac head statues designed by Giuseppe Castiglione for Emperor Qian Long miraculously disappeared from the Imperial Summer Palace. Rumours soon spread that these statues were kept hidden in the hometown of the zodiac’s designer castle. Players take on the role of a secret agent with a mission to recover the 12 zodiac heads and escape from the castle. Mausoleum 2.0 Built to protect the Emperor in his afterlife, the Terracotta Army consists of clay figures of Emperor Qin’s army in an underground mausoleum. Players have wandered deep into the restricted area of the world heritage site, and are now lost and trapped. A reflective liquid begins filling the room. Can they escape before being drowned by mercury? Aokigahara 2.0 After walking into the forest, players have lost their way. Historically linked to demons and supernatural beings, Aokigahara is not a place to spend a night in. A grim fate awaits unless they find a way out. |
