October is set to be one scary month with interactive experiences and Halloween-related events

And just in time for the spooky season is Haw Ror Villa 3, spanning over two weekends on Oct 18, 19, 25 and 26 at Har Paw Villa. This year, the event has come back larger and more haw-rrifying than ever before, with upgraded scares to boot across three zones. It’ll be a Haw Par Villa park-wide affair, with interactive twists to old favourites.

The star attraction is still Hell’s Museum, the world’s first museum on death and the afterlife (and one of Singapore’s most highly ranked museums, being awarded the 2023 and 2024 Tripadvisors’ Travellers Choice Award). Operational hours will be extended so that visitors can experience the infamous Courts of Hell in an entirely new light – or rather, no light at all. It will also be celebrating its 3rd birthday so expect loads of scares. For example, The Judge’s Wrath – A Hell’s Museum Escape Room will test your ability to stay calm and solve puzzles while the denizens of Hell work to keep you there. Can you keep your wits about you and find a way out of Hell?

If you do, make your way to the other two zones in the park: The Villa Has Eyes – An Interactive Guided Park Tour, and The Shaman’s Bazaar.

Don your detective’s cap at The Villa Has Eyes, the all-new interactive scare zone. You’ll have to solve a notorious murder case that took place where the original Haw Par Villa once stood. Guided by our lead detective, you will explore the park and uncover the stories behind one of the richest families in Asia and lay this spirit to rest.

The Shaman’s Bazaar, a crowd-favourite from past Halloween editions, has been supersized. There will be booths by local artisans featuring Halloween-themed offerings and themed food and beverage options. In addition, you can lie in a real coffin and contemplate death in our Rebirthing Experience Room; or visit an exhibition on Hungry Ghosts.
