It’s going to be four days of all things coffee from Oct 31 to Nov 3 at Plaza Singapura. The first-ever Singapore Coffee Week, launched by the Singapore Coffee Association, is a tribute to Singapore’s vibrant and fast-growing coffee culture, and a chance for everyone to explore over 32 coffee and coffee-related brands in one place.
The event aims to educate the public about Singapore’s coffee history, and coffee origins and preparation methods through fun-filled interactive activities, booths and coffee masterclasses, and an exciting barista team competition. There’s also the opportunity to learn about Singapore’s coffee culture, history, and bean-to-brew process.
So what’s brewing? Visitors can taste, drink and explore the world of coffee from over 32 local and international brands, including Tanamera Coffee, Huggs Coffee, Cowpresso, Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee, and Cheerful Goat. They will offer a wide range of coffee drinks and coffee-related products such as coffee beans, drip bags, machines and more.
There will be interactive learning experiences to learn about the transformative journey from bean to brew, including harvesting, processing and brewing techniques. Enjoy free coffee masterclasses at the main stage and learn coffee cupping and latte art techniques from these coffee experts. At the Specialty Coffee Village, explore the different origins and blends of coffee from countries like Peru, Indonesia, and Hawaii.
Catch the highly anticipated Singapore Barista Team Championships where ten teams of four baristas race against the clock to create exceptional coffee beverages. The winning team will go on to represent Singapore at the ASEAN Barista Team Championship 2025. Other competitions include the Dalla Corte Espresso Championship and the De’Longhi Home Barista Throwdown.
By participating in various activities at the event, visitors stand a chance to win more than 2,500 prizes valued at a total of $30,000. Simply embark on the Passport Trail Adventure and collect stamps by visiting any of the booths at Singapore Coffee Week, or test your knowledge with trivia questions about the coffee production process to get a chance to “Spin & Win” or grab attractive prizes at the Claw-ffee Mystery Machine.
But don’t wait till Oct 31, because the fun has already begun. Embark on a cafe-hopping adventure at over 80 cafes across Singapore from now till Oct 31. Collect stamps at each participating cafe and receive a $5 voucher redeemable at any of the booths exhibiting at Singapore Coffee Week. Participants also stand a chance to win the grand prize – a round trip to Italy – or other prizes, such as a De’Longhi coffee machine worth up to $1,500.
