Painting Industry
Well-known Malaysian painter Jalaini Abu Hassan has held 24 solo exhibitions and has been part of numerous group exhibitions all around the world. This solo exhibition will feature his paintings of vast, spacious places with a variety of actors and motifs, using his trademark bitumen.
Still-Life: A Frozen Moment
This group exhibition will feature still life paintings, works of art that depict inanimate objects. Viewers will get to see different art practices of five artists from different regions– Andres Barrioquinto (Philippines), Youngseok Cha (Korea), Indra Dodi (Indonesia), Jaehoon Lee (New Zealand) and Guo-Liang Tan (Singapore).
Chinese Zodiac Heads: A Gift from Jackie Chan
Donated by Jackie Chan, the 12 zodiac animal heads made for the 2012 movie CZ12 will be exhibited at Asian Civilisations Museum. These head sculptures were designed by Taiwanese artist aPen.

It will feature photographic works (curated by Objectifs) by 30 young local photographers. Viewers will get to see different styles, approaches, and themes explored in these works.
