Book Club: The Left Hand of Darkness
This bimonthly feminist book club led by the Singapore Committee for UN Women is discussing The Left Hand of Darkness by the prolific Ursula LeGuin, a science fiction novel about a diplomat who is sent to a planet where the people can choose and change their gender. Music in the City
This monthly performance allows local talents to showcase their artistic and musical expressions. The current edition, entitled Rhythmic Beats, features the Tanglin Trust School’s Senior Jazz and Ska bands and their Chamber choir and orchestra.

Singapore-based artist Ching Kai’s third solo exhibition features 12 new monochrome works of acrylic on canvas. In these new works, he experiments with various textures, allowing the audience to interpret the colors themselves.
