Hold up—we’ve officially entered the final quarter of 2018. How, we’re not sure. But at least with it comes the blessing of Oktoberfest; a distraction while we work towards hitting those KPIs before the year ends. We get it. The outdoor festival atmosphere has great vibes, but Singapore’s weather can be a real mood killer. Over at Bugis, keep your cool in a fully air-conditioned marquee at Oktoberfest Asia 2018, happening Oct 18-21. With ticket prices from $63 per person, enjoy a variety of free-flow beers from German breweries Paulaner Brauhaus, Bitburger, Weihenstephan and Benediktiner; a German food platter consisting of roast pork knuckle, crispy pork porchetta, veal, pork and chicken sausage by Shiso is also available at an additional $20. If you’ve had your fill of the regular taps (will you ever, though?), move on to the special festival beers brewed exclusively for this event. Alternatively, splurge on a VIP ticket ($154) that includes a special Oktoberfest buffet menu with traditional entrees and desserts such as beer-brined chicken, meatballs and apple strudels. Tan Quee Lan St.
