Singapore’s highest rooftop bar, Nova, is 63 storeys above street level

There’s a new star in town and its name is Nova. Singapore’s newest bar is also its highest, located on the 63rd storey of One Raffles Place and a towering 282 metres above the streets below.

In a departure from its stable of F&B venues like Osteria Mozza, Chatterbox and Rempapa, OUE Restaurants’ nightlife venue offers unparalleled views of the iconic Singaporean cityscape – and we say this without hyperbole, as it really is the highest bar in the land for now – alongside inspired local bar bites, breezy cocktails and live music. Tip: Make dinner reservations at HighHouse located at Levels 61 and 62 of One Raffles Place before heading upstairs to catch the sunset – with a drink in hand.

Its digs are suitably futuristic without feeling tacky, boasting a shiny, contemporary-chic sheen bolstered by steel and aluminium and underpinned with comforting elements like natural wooden flooring and decorative flora.

The venue naturally converges into a shining starburst-esque centrepiece of a sculpture designed by Kuala Lumpur-based light artist Jun Ong and aptly given the moniker of Astra (Latin for star).

Expect both in-house and guest DJs to spin a groovy mix of house, urban tunes, afro and world beats, enhanced and produced by a world-class sound system.

Both bites and beverages are designed to match the vibes of Nova, drawing from the Pacific Coast with grub inclusive of Tom Yum Fries, Indonesian-style Noodles and Nova Pau alongside signature cocktails like Mango Sticky Highball, Triple Lime Sling and Roselle.

Says Wayne Lee, general manager of Nova and HighHouse (a restaurant and lounge concept also by the OUE group), “At Nova, our goal is to enhance the nightlife experience by combining refined culinary offerings with the vibrant energy of electrifying top hits. Drawing inspiration from music festivals, we strive to offer memorable nights out and hope to be a beloved choice for locals and tourists alike. Our focus is on delivering quality and memorable experiences for everyone who walks through our doors.”

Nova is at 1 Raffles Place, Level 63, Singapore 048616.
