We hear UK celeb chef Mark Sargeant (a regular on television shows like BBC's Saturday Kitchen and on the Food Network UK) is going to open contemporary British gastrobar Oxwell & Co (5 Ann Siang Hill) in August/September, and we can’t wait. But till then, will satisfy our British food cravings with the many versions of scotch eggs that are popping up across town. The snack’s big right now. Really, what’s not to love? It’s an egg covered with sausage and deep fried.

Shopping mall restaurants don’t have the best rep, especially considering the florescent mall lighting and sterile vibe. Still, we’re always on the lookout for good mall eats. These establishments are terribly convenient and—often linked to office blocks—mean you don’t have to step out of air-conditioned comfort for lunch.
