I had the pleasure of meeting up with Diageo Reserve's World Class 2010 champion, Erik Lorincz one fine afternoon at City Space at Swissotel. The dapper London-based Slovakian mixologist was just here to give some insights into the world of bartending as well as sharing his experiences at last year's championships in Greece. .

Even the heaviest of rain did not dampen the spirits of 6,000 music fans, some coming from as far as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and The Philippines at the inaugural St. Jerome's Laneway Festival last Saturday at Fort Canning Park. From as early as 1pm, fans have already copped their spots on the grass for what is to be one of the year's most anticipated (and wettest and muddiest) music events.
