Axwell, Ingrosso and two more acts are the latest additions to this year’s ZoukOut

Keeping us on the edge of our seats, the organizers of ZoukOut have been teasing us by revealing the acts in phases. We already know that FlumeMarshmelloRobin SchulzClaptone and Gui Boratto have made the bill for the 17th edition of Asia’s largest beachfront music festival on Dec 8-9. Now, we get the third drop.

Yes, Axwell Λ Ingrosso is coming. Both of them were part of house music supergroup Swedish House Mafia, formed together with Steve Angello in 2008. With unforgettable smash hits like “Antidote”, “Don’t You Worry Child” and “Save The World”, they dominated the EDM scene until they decided to go separate ways in 2012; but not without a high energy farewell tour that included a Singapore stop. While Angello went on to focus on his own label, Axwell and Ingrosso teamed up and made their debut as Axwell Λ Ingrosso in 2014. We saw them at the first Ultra Singapore two years ago, and now they’re back to kill it again at ZoukOut.

Joining them is Dutch trap duo Yellow Claw, who debuted in Singapore last April to a fully packed Zouk. This will be their third appearance here, following their upcoming headlining gig at this year’s four-day floating festival, It’s The Ship next month. These guys struck gold after signing to Diplo’s label, Mad Decent, and later with Spinnin’ Records. Earlier this year, they released their sophomore record, Los Amsterdam, which sees them collaborating with biggies like DJ Snake, Elliphant, Tinie Tempah and GTA while incorporating their own elements of trap, hip-hop, dubstep, hardstyle and moombathon into each track.

No stranger to our shores, R3hab is the last act announced in this drop. Together with Afrojack and Chuckie, R3hab helped in creating and promoting the unique Dutch house sound that most purveyors of EDM have grown to love. He’s worked with the likes of Headhunterz, Sander van Doorn and KSHMR, and just last month (Sep 15) released his debut album Trouble.
