A dodo bird and a giant ground sloth are making their way to Singapore this November

The ArtScience Museum is about to get a Night At The Museum-esque makeover. For the first time ever, the London Natural History Museum’s travelling exhibition Treasures of the Natural World will be coming to Southeast Asia, and making its stop exclusively in Singapore, (naturally).

On show from Nov 25-Apr 29, the exhibition will showcase over 200 of the London museum’s star objects, handpicked to represent the best of its collection. To accurately trace the origins and evolution of the natural world, there will be artefacts from the Enlightenment of the 18th century through to present day.

Some highlights to look out for include a “cursed” amethyst, previously kept locked inside a series of seven protective boxes Harry Potter-style; a handwritten page from On the Origin of Species by evolution advocate Charles Darwin himself; a model of the infamous dodo bird (sadly, it’s a recreated, modern interpretation since no complete dodo skeletons exist); and our personal favorite—a taxidermied giant ground sloth. It really doesn’t get any better than that.

But above all, we like how cutely photographed the artefacts are, almost like collectible playing cards. Scroll through to collect them all!

Treasures of the Natural World will run from Nov 25-Apr 29 at the ArtScience Museum. Tickets are $13.60 for residents, and are available at all Marina Bay Sands box offices and website from Nov 1
