Emo and punk fans—whether in the past or secretly now—rejoiced last month when American rock band Fall Out Boy announced via Twitter that they’d be stopping by Singapore for the Asian leg of The Mania Tour next year, along with stops like Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya. Now we’ve got the deets on when that’s happening.
Just 12 years ago (let that sink in), the rock outfit made a breakthrough with their sophomore record From Under the Cork Tree, which went platinum. We were all collectively screaming and jumping around to the two hit singles, “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” and “Dance Dance”. Now, they have a total of seven (including Mania, set to release in January next year) to boot, proving that they’re not about to just fizzle out and die like other similar bands of that era, even despite going on hiatus in 2010.
These guys will be taking the stage in the West of Singapore, performing on Apr 30, 2018 at Zepp @ BigBox Singapore. Tickets are priced at $148 ($138 each, if you buy in a group, minimum 3 people), and will go on sale via Sistic at 10am on Dec 18.
